Introducing Seven New International Payment Methods

Last month we announced four new payment methods, including QRIS, VietQR, QRPH, and PayNow. As part of our continued efforts to expand our payment options, we’re very excited to announce today we have five additional payment methods to introduce: PromptPay, TrueMoney, LINE Pay, UPI, Kakao Pay, Naver Pay and PAYCO.

These new payment methods are available to all customers for all of our shared, reseller, semi-dedicated, or cloud compute hosting. Likewise, if you’re in the market for a domain, all domain registrations and renewals are eligible for all new payment methods.

PromptPay

PromptPay is an official payment method for users from Thailand. As it is backed by all major banks in Thailand, users can add their bank accounts as a funding source, enabling instant payments online through secure protocols.

TrueMoney

TrueMoney is one of Thailand’s largest digital wallet apps, enabling users to make cashless and cardless payments securely to local and online merchants. The wallet integrates deeply with PromptPay, creating a secure and trusted transaction environment.

Rabbit LINE Pay

LINE Pay is another Thailand based e-wallet and mobile payment app. Originally built around public transport, the app has since grown out to a more general financial services app and is accepted at countless merchants, both online and in person.

UPI

Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is an Indian-based payment platform and app. UPI is the largest payment platform in India, backed by all major Indian banks, and rivals other global processors for its transaction volume and number of users.

Kakao Pay

Kakao Pay is a mobile payment platform, developed by Kakao Corp, focused on providing services to users from Korea. The platform provides enhanced payment security by linking directly to your verified bank account, while also allowing you to add alternative funding sources like credit/debit cards.

Naver Pay is a mobile wallet payment solution developed by the Naver Corporation. The app allows you to add your bank account or credit or debit cards to facilitate secure online payments, most frequently through the use of QR codes. It is primarily available to users based in Korea.

PAYCO

PAYCO is another Korean based payment method, also offering the ability to add your bank, cards, or other funding sources to the wallet as a means of secure online or in-person payments. As an official bank-backed app, PAYCO provides enhanced trust and security for users making online payments.

A Continuing Trend

We’re not stopping here! Our goal is to continue adding payment methods that are local to our customers, ultimately making it as easy as possible to pay for your hosting services. If there’s a payment method you’d like to see us offer, please contact us and let us know, we’d love to hear your suggestions!
