At Hawk Host, we’ve always tried to offer the best value in web hosting plans while keeping things as simple as possible. For the longest time, the biggest thing you needed to worry about on a website was running out of space. Our hosting plans reflected that worry, but web hosting has evolved, so our plans have evolved to meet today’s needs for additional performance resources.
Our overall infrastructure isn’t changing; we’re still leveraging our redundant storage, which scales well beyond what a single server can handle. As such, we’re still going to provide very generous disk space, but our unlimited plans are being moved to a legacy offering that you’ll eventually be unable to order. For the majority of users, space is not a concern but instead, it’s about performance. That means how many CPU cores, how much memory, and how much I/O, and that is now what our plans will be focused on.
We’re still going to offer an entry-level plan, our new Starter plan, which will accommodate most users starting out. Each of our plans will see increases not only in space but also in performance metrics, so you can easily upgrade to the next hosting plan with a click of a button and get the extra performance you need as your site grows. Previously, you could access only 8 CPU cores on our semi-dedicated plans, but now you can upgrade to an 8-core plan with just a few clicks.

If performance was not already a concern, we are also happy to announce that, with the introduction of space limits on accounts, you can set an unlimited email quota for email accounts. With all our new plans, you can set your email accounts to unlimited and only worry about your overall space usage on your web hosting account.
If you’re currently on any of our legacy web hosting plans, you can also upgrade to any of our new plans using our upgrade option, as we understand many of our current users may need additional CPU, memory, or I/O and never had a simple way to make that a reality.
