It’s time for new reseller plans, and the theme of the change is: more! Hawk Host has been offering reseller plans since its inception, and today’s lineup is the next evolution for Hawk Host resellers. Similar to our recent shared hosting changes, we’re now offering more CPU, RAM, disk I/O, and processes per cPanel account under your reseller. Each plan offers more disk space for use across your cPanel accounts, too!

The reseller hosting industry has changed significantly over the last few years, primarily due to cPanel/WHM’s pricing decisions. We won’t get into that here, as that’s another discussion entirely, but those factors were the impetus behind our modernizing our reseller offerings. We’ve redesigned our plans to include more CPU and RAM, as we’ve found most customers require these extra resources rather than more disk space. As the software powering common sites continues to bloat and prioritize features over efficiency, it’s up to site operators to ensure not only that the site is optimized, but that they have enough physical resources. These new reseller plans go a long way in helping those goals.

Our reseller plans remain anonymous and whitelabel, which has not changed. Resellers are hosted on our private infrastructure, powered by Storpool, offering triple-redundancy at the data level and an extremely performant cloud to back your hosting. We’ve invested so much time and energy in building out our 7 locations, each with its own localized, redundant private cloud, and we’re confident you won’t find better infrastructure-level performance from another reseller provider at our price point.

Here’s a table that breaks down the performance differences across all our new hosting plans. Please note the CPU, RAM/memory, I/O, Process, and Inode limits are per cPanel account owner by your reseller. The Total Disk Quota and cPanel Accounts values apply to the entire reseller plan. A bit confusing, I know, but I promise it makes sense once you’re using a reseller plan!

As is the case whenever we launch new plans, we’re not forcing these plans on existing customers. If you’re happy with your current reseller setup and pricing, then you can continue using that service as long as you’re happy with Hawk Host. If you do want to upgrade your reseller plan, you can do so at any time through your client area; there will be no downtime, and any coupons you’re currently receiving will still be honored on the upgrade.
