Zend Framework 1.7.4 Released

Zend Framework 1.7.4 was released on Monday and all our servers have once again been updated to have the latest version included in the library folder for php.  Not a whole lot to talk about here it’s a maintenance release to fix a few bugs.   Here’s a list of what was fixed in this version:

• jQuery UI TabContainer rendering incorrectly
• Cache example in Zend_Translate is wrong
• Zend_Config_Xml::_arrayMergeRecursive() - wrong variable names in phpdoc comment
• Memoize namespace lookup results in Zend_Gdata
• Wrong handling of UTF8 strings length.
• Unable to handle ‘=’ in long options
• Typo in Code Example of Zend Locale Date Normalization
• ZendX_JQuery_View_Helper_DatePicker - error during date convertion
• Add the ability to disable the XML to Object mapping in Zend_Gdata
• Erroneous require in ZendX/JQuery/View/Helper/UiWidget
• Extend Zend_Soap_Server and overwrite method “_initializeSoapErrorContext” and error_handler with E_ALL -> “loadXML()” error
• Zend_Config_Writer_Ini fails to write config sometimes
• Failure with Zend_Db_Statement_Oracle unit test
• Zend_DB/Oracle fetchColumn errors on empty rowset
• CLONE -Concurrent adding and committing throws ‘Zend_Search_Lucene_Exception’ File XXX.del is not readable.
• offsetSetStylesheet: not correct order in headLink view helper
• Wrong complex type handling in strategy ArrayOfTypeSequence
• directMessageMessages and directMessageSent do not use rest params
• Zend_Db_Statement_Oracle::fetchColumn() - behaviour inconsistent with base method definition
• exception classes lazy load in Zend_Search_Lucene

Just the usual maintenance list I’m sure the next release with new features will be more exciting.
