Account transfer or access with death of a customer
To request a change of ownership for an account following the death of the account holder, the following documentation must be provided via email to support@hawkhost.com or mailed to:

Required documentation
Section titled “Required documentation”- Death certificate of the account holder.
- Legal documentation identifying the Estate Administrator by name.
- Government-issued photo ID of the requestor / Estate Administrator. The ID must be a color copy, scan, or digital photo showing the individual, their name, signature, and expiration date — all clearly readable.
Business accounts
Section titled “Business accounts”If the account holder was a business rather than an individual, a copy of a government-issued business ID is required. Acceptable forms include:
- A government-issued business license from a local, county, state, or federal agency.
- For US-based businesses, an IRS Determination Letter (request a copy by calling the IRS at 1-800-829-4933).
We cannot accept articles of incorporation/organization, applications, documents printed from the internet, or tax returns as business identification.
Note: Providing the above documentation does not guarantee the ownership change will be approved. Hawk Host Inc. reserves the right to accept or reject the request at our sole discretion.
