How do I disable WHOIS/ID protection on my domain name?

Disabling WHOIS/ID protection will make your domain’s contact information publicly visible in WHOIS lookups. The $3.00 fee previously paid for protection is non-refundable, and you would need to pay again to re-enable it.

Section titled “Navigate to domain addons”

  1. Log in to your client area and navigate to Domains > My Domains:

  2. Click the green Active button next to the domain you want to modify:

  3. From the domain management page, click Addons in the left-side menu:

Disable protection

Section titled “Disable protection”

  1. Click the red Disable button to remove WHOIS/ID protection:

  2. Confirm your decision by clicking Confirm Cancellation:

  3. You will see a confirmation message: “Addon Deactivated Successfully!”
