Transferring a domain name to Hawk Host

You can transfer a domain name to Hawk Host at any time — during a hosting order or after your account is set up. Domain transfers are initiated through our website at my.hawkhost.com/domainchecker.php. If you don’t see your TLD listed, contact our billing department to check availability.

Before you begin

Ensure the following conditions are met at your current registrar:

• The domain has no registrar lock or pending formalities
• WHOIS/ID protection is disabled and the administrative contact email is current and accessible
• You have obtained the domain’s EPP/authorization code from the current registrar
• The domain is at least 60 days old and eligible for transfer

Transfer process

1. Initiate the transfer through our domain checker and complete the order.
2. The domain’s administrative contact will receive an email with an approval link.
3. Once approved, your old registrar has up to 5 days to release the domain.
4. If the transfer fails or stalls, you will receive an email notification from our support department within 24 hours with further details.

While a domain transfer is in progress, you will be unable to make any modifications (nameserver changes, contact details, etc.) until the transfer completes.
