Why is my email bouncing or how do I add SPF or DKIM records?
If your outgoing email is bouncing, it may be due to missing or invalid SPF and DKIM records on your domain. These DNS records verify the authenticity of your sending domain, making your email less likely to be flagged as spam or rejected by the receiving mail server.
Adding SPF and DKIM records
Section titled “Adding SPF and DKIM records”-
Log in to cPanel.

Search for Email Deliverability.

Locate the domain that needs SPF and DKIM records, then click Manage.

If your domain has invalid or missing records, cPanel will display the suggested records to install. Click Install the Suggested Record for each record that needs to be added.

Once installed, the status should change to Valid.
What SPF and DKIM do
Section titled “What SPF and DKIM do”- SPF (Sender Policy Framework) — specifies which mail servers are authorized to send email on behalf of your domain
- DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail) — adds a digital signature to outgoing messages so receiving servers can verify the email hasn’t been tampered with

- The email address you’re sending from
- The email address you’re sending to
- The exact bounce-back error message
- Email headers (if available)
