How do I configure G Suite email for my account?

All hosting accounts fully support Google Workspace (formerly G Suite). To configure Google Workspace email, you need to update your MX records and email routing through cPanel’s Zone Editor.

  1. Log in to cPanel and search for Zone Editor:

  2. Click Manage next to the domain you are configuring:

  3. Click Edit next to your existing MX record and modify it to match the first Google Workspace MX record per Google’s documentation, then click Save Record:

  4. Click Add Record and add the remaining MX records per Google’s documentation until all 5 records are added:

  5. Search cPanel for the Email Routing interface.

  6. Set Email Routing to either Automatic (showing “Remote”) or manually change it to Remote:

All email for the configured domain(s) will now be routed through Google Workspace.

Creating CNAME records for Google Workspace

  1. Log in to cPanel and search for Zone Editor:

  2. Click Manage next to the domain you are configuring.

  3. Click Add Record and set the name, TTL, and record values per Google’s documentation:

  4. Repeat for each CNAME record required by Google Workspace.
