Our cloud web hosting, semi-dedicated, and reseller web hosting plans utilize the Imunify360 WAF (Web Application Firewall) in front of your websites. This protection is enabled by default and includes multiple features designed to protect your website from malware, malicious traffic, bad actors, and more.
Why This Message Appears
Section titled “Why This Message Appears”If an IP address is detected as potentially malicious or triggers the Imunify360 WAF rules, visitors from that IP will temporarily see the following message before being redirected to your website:
“Please wait while your request is being verified…”
This message indicates that the Imunify360 WAF is verifying the traffic and request are legitimate before allowing it to reach your website. This is a security measure and should only appear briefly.
How to Disable This Protection
Section titled “How to Disable This Protection”If you would like to disable this protection so this message is never shown to visitors on your website, please open a support ticket at https://my.hawkhost.com/submitticket.php so our team can whitelist your domain(s) through the Imunify360 WAF.
