What do I set my name servers to?

Since we run multiple DNS clusters for shared hosting and semi-dedicated accounts, the nameservers for your account depend on which server you are set up on.

Finding Your Nameservers

Section titled “Finding Your Nameservers”

You can find your nameservers in one of two ways:

  1. New Account Information email — Reference the “New Account Information” email you received when your hosting was activated. Your assigned nameservers are listed in this email.

  2. Client area — Log in to your client area and navigate to My Services. Click on your specific service to view its details, including the assigned nameservers.

Reseller Customers

Section titled “Reseller Customers”

All reseller customers should reference their “New Account Information” email for nameserver information. Custom nameservers can be configured through WHM. For instructions on setting up your own branded nameservers and locating your IPs, see How do I use my own nameservers?
