Why do I see multiple transactions on my credit or debit card statement?
When paying with a credit or debit card, Hawk Host will attempt to authorize the invoice amount against your card, then perform a capture for that amount. In rare scenarios, you may see multiple authorizations from the same invoice or payment attempt, which appear as multiple payments on your credit or debit card statement.
Multiple authorizations will not mean you have been overcharged. In most cases, duplicate authorizations will automatically drop from your card statement within three days.

Section titled “How do multiple authorizations or transaction attempts happen?”There are a few common scenarios that create duplicate transactions and authorizations. Please note Hawk Host will never intentionally attempt to process multiple payments for the same invoice.
- You did not complete the full checkout process in your browser from our website
