How to Fix Wrong Email Disk Usage in cPanel (Dovecot Recalculation Guide)
There are various cases, due to bugs or other operations, where the email account disk usage being reported may be incorrect. You can force Dovecot to recalculate disk usage on the affected account.
Remove Dovecot Index Files
Section titled “Remove Dovecot Index Files”Replace CPUSER with the cPanel username of the affected account.
/scripts/remove_dovecot_index_files --user CPUSERRegenerate Mail Directory Size
Section titled “Regenerate Mail Directory Size”Replace CPUSER with the cPanel username of the affected account.
/scripts/generate_maildirsize --verbose --confirm CPUSER
